Community rules and reports
Struct is a study app for school and university students, many of them minors. Through friendships and sharing flashcards, study notes, notebook pages and mock exams, you get in touch with others. To keep this pleasant for everyone, these rules apply.
1. What is not allowed
- Insults, harassment, threats or bullying
- Racism, hate speech and discrimination
- Sexual, violence glorifying or otherwise unsuitable content for children and teenagers
- Offensive or misleading display names, including impersonating someone else
- Spam, advertising and links to harmful sites
- Content that violates copyright or other people's privacy (e.g. other people's photos, addresses or phone numbers)
- Any other illegal content
2. How to report someone
Next to friends, open requests and shared content you will find the flag icon. Choose a reason and, if you like, briefly describe what happened. You can report people you are connected with. You can report each person once; to prevent abuse there is a short waiting time between two reports and at most five reports per day. After reporting, you can also block the person, so they can no longer send you requests or content. You can also report illegal content at any time by email to struct.today@gmail.com, even without an account. Please state which content it is and where it can be found, why you consider it illegal, your name and email address, and that your information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. How we review reports
With your report we store the reason, your text and, as evidence, short excerpts of the content the reported person shared with you. An AI (Google Gemini) gives a first assessment; a human always makes the decision. We review reports promptly, carefully and impartially. The reported person does not learn who reported them.
4. Possible measures
Depending on severity: no measure, suspension of the account for 7 days, or permanent suspension. Anyone who knowingly submits false reports can also be suspended. A suspended account can no longer log in. Offensive display names are automatically rejected when saving.
5. Notification and objection
After the decision, you as the reporting person receive an email with the outcome. If an account is suspended, the affected person receives an email stating the reason and duration of the suspension. Both sides can object within six months by replying to the email or writing to struct.today@gmail.com. A human then reviews the case again and we tell you the outcome. You can also go to court independently of this.
6. Point of contact
Single point of contact for users and authorities under Art. 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act: struct.today@gmail.com. We communicate in German and English. How we handle your data in this context is described in the Privacy Policy.
